Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. heads into space on Friday with the two-hour Season 5 premiere, and to help get fans excited, Marvel and ABC have unveiled new character portraits.

The images tease new looks for the central cast, including Ian De Caestecker's Fitz, who was left behind on Earth, having not been "on the list."

Daisy "Quake" Johnson (Chloe Bennet) appears to be leaving behind her comics-accurate Quake suit, whereas Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) sports a look that is reminiscent of seasons past. Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), meanwhile, wears a battered jacket, suggesting it's from one of the many characters they'll come into contact with while on the spaceship.

Like Coulson, Mack's (Henry Simmons) new duds aren't too far removed from what we've seen the character wear before. Still, he looks ready for battle, presumably take down Vrellnexians.

Although he may not be in space with the rest of the S.H.I.E.L.D. gang (at least, not right away) Fitz is still very much around for the show's fifth season. And he dons a look similar to that of new cast member Jeff Ward, who plays Deke.

One of the few characters who hasn't undergone many changes is Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), who's depicted in a burgundy jacket and black T-shirt. Yo-Yo (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) wears her trademark boots as well as some protective gear and what looks to be a holster.
