When "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns Tuesday for the second half of its fourth season, the ABC series will shake up its landscape. Following the events of the midseason finale, which saw Daisy "Quake" Johnson (Chloe Benent) and Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) enter the framework in hopes of rescuing the rest of their S.H.I.E.L.D. family, the former agents are thrust into a reality that explores what might have happened had Captain America failed to stop Hydra in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

A new preview features the return of fan favorite Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), who met his demise as Hive in the Season Three finale. In the clip, Daisy struggles with the realization just how different her life in the framework is from the reality she knows as an Inhuman and as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

It's the latest in a line of promotional materials focusing on the alternate-reality aspect of the upcoming storyline. Over the past few weeks, we've seen a Hydra makeover of teasers from seasons past and an illustration highlighting Coulson's new role as a teacher.

Returning Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Daisy “Quake” Johnson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons and Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie.
