Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." may have met their match in the Framework, a virtual world not unlike “The Matrix.” As the show’s “LMD” storyline drew to a close, Coulson, May, Mack, Fitz and Jeffrey Mace found themselves unwitting participants in Holden Radcliffe’s grand experiment. Now, Daisy and Simmons are entering the Framework themselves in an effort to save their friends from physical death.
In anticipation for the third and final story arc of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4, Marvel has released a new poster that hypes up Hydra's return. After all, when "Self Control" -- the last episode -- drew to a close, a close-up on the Triskelion revealed a giant Hydra symbol on the government building.
"Hail the New World Order," reads the tagline on the poster. The poster is drenched in green, Hydra's signature color, and features each member of the core "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." cast. Beyond that, the poster doesn't offer very many clues, though it does reaffirm Hydra's role in the upcoming story arc.
Returning Tuesday, April 4 at 10 pm ET/PT on ABC, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Daisy “Quake” Johnson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie and more.
