After a few weeks of self-quarantining and social isolation, people are running out of shows, movies and general things to do without leaving home. However, a desperate Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fan has started a social media campaign asking for Disney to release the shows final season early on its streaming service.Chris Panico tagged many of the show's stars, such as Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen and Natalia Cordova in his Twitter plea.RELATED: Disney+ Absolutely NEEDS a Mockingbird Show

Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet both retweeted the fan request begging for Disney to move up the season's release.

The final season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe spinoff is set to air on ABC like its previous six seasons, but there is a precedent for the company to move up release dates. Frozen 2 was released on Disney+ three months ahead of schedule and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker received an early digital release. Both may have been made available early by Disney to take advantage of families being stuck in their homes together during the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.

While Disney has stopped all production on upcoming projects, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finished filming in July 2019.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return in the summer for its final season on ABC. The series stars Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Iain De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Elizabeth Henstridge and Clark Gregg.
