The last time viewers saw "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", the Inhuman gene awoke in individuals across the globe while Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) struck out on her own journey away from her teammates of the last three years. Details are still trickling in about Season Four of the Marvel Television series, but a new casting development opens the door to some potential story lines.

Parminder Nagra ("The Blacklist," "E.R.") has been tapped to play an anti-Inhuman politician concerned with what she sees as the latest potential existential threat to humanity, according to IGN. Nagra joins several new additions in Season Four, including Jason O'Mara as the new head of S.H.I.E.L.D. along with the rather unexpected addition of Robbie Reyes, AKA Ghost Rider, played Gabriel Luna.

Nagra previously starred in NBC's long-running "E.R." alongside "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stalwart Ming-Na Wen, who plays Agent Melinda May. It's unknown if their characters will have much interaction in the upcoming season, but both actors are certainly excited about the reunion behind the scenes, sharing the following exchange on Twitter after Nagra's casting was announced:

With new powerful players in the mix on both the political and supernatural side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, plus the continued rise of Inhumans, the Agents will definitely have their work cut out for them. Luckily, audiences won't have to wait long, since Season Four premieres September 20 on ABC.
