Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has begun filming the upcoming sixth season of the ABC drama, with a familiar face behind the camera.

Principal photography on the Marvel Cinematic Universe series began this week, with star Clark Gregg stepping in to the role of director for the Season 6 premiere. Through a series of posts on his Instagram account, Gregg provided a behind-the-scenes look at the show's return...while being sure to redact top secret information including the episode title.

Plot details on the upcoming season are still being kept under wraps but casting calls for new characters indicate the team will be taking on a group of mercenaries over the course of the season. Meanwhile, Agent Fitz and Simmons' time-displaced grandson will have a larger role throughout Season 6.

The first MCU television series will return for a shortened season next summer though the network has indicated they don't plan to end the show after Season 6.
