While at New York Comic Con to promote her new sci-comedy The Orville, Palicki told International Business Times that "if they ask me, I would absolutely come back.”

She played Bobbi Morse, alongside Nick Blood as her ex-husband Lance Hunter, in the second and third seasons of the ABC drama. They were written off the series so they could star in a planned spinoff, Marvel's Most Wanted, but when ABC decided against ordering the project, the characters vanished.

It was announced last month that Hunter will return to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the upcoming season. However, Mockingbird remains missing in action.

"I know Nick’s coming back," Palicki said. "So what are they gonna do without Bobbi is all I’m asking. I would absolutely make a cameo. For sure.”

Returning Friday, Dec. 1, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Daisy “Quake” Johnson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, and Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie.
