RELATED: When Does Agents of SHIELD Return on ABC?

Prior to "All the Comforts of Home," Absorbing Man had appeared in four episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He got his start as a Hydra villain. Later, he was rehabilitated and enlisted into General Brigadier Glenn Talbot's service at the ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit). In his last appearance, Creel crossed paths with S.H.I.E.L.D. while he served as Talbot's bodyguard. He even went so far as to save the life of Lance Hunter, thus completing his transition from villain to hero.

Though he voluntarily worked with S.H.I.E.L.D. in his last appearance, he may not be so friendly when he returns. While Coulson and his team were busy saving humanity in the future, they became the most wanted criminals in the United States. This is the consequence of the “LMD” storyline from Season 4, where a Life Model Decoy posed as Daisy and shot Brigadier General Colonel Glenn Talbot in the head, critically wounding — but not killing — him. Since Creel is loyal to Talbot, he'll probably have an ax to grind with Daisy.

Returning Friday, March 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Ian De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley and Elizabeth Henstridge.
