"Agent Carter" actress Lotte Verbeek has apologized to fans of the recently canceled Marvel drama, saying the series let them down.

Appearing this weekend at MCM London Comic Con, the Ana Jarvis actress told the audience, "You guys were just amazing supporting it and I'm sorry it got canceled. I feel like we're kinda letting you guys down - but it wasn't my decision, unfortunately."

Starring Hayley Atwell, "Agent Carter" aired two seasons on ABC, before its cancellation in mid-May. Since then fans have called on Netflix -- home to such Marvel series as "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones" -- to revive the show. One petition has already garnered more than 100,000 supporters.

Atwell has already been cast on another ABC drama, "Conviction," which will premiere this fall.
