On Twitter, Marvel Entertainment teased that Enver Gjokaj's Daniel Sousa is moving on up in the SSR in a new photo from the set of ABC's "Agent Carter." The photo shows only an office door, which reads, "Chief Daniel Sousa."

Fans will remember that Chief Roger Dooley (Shea Whigham), who ran the New York City chapter of the SSR, sacrificed himself after Dr. Ivchenko (Ralph Brown) strapped a bomb to his chest. In the season finale, it seemed as though Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) had taken over Dooley's position. Considering this new development, Sousa may accept a new, higher position at the SSR and head to Los Angeles alongside Peggy (Hayley Atwell).

According to season two's official plot synopsis, Peggy will head to Los Angeles for some Cold War-era espionage: "Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home -- and perhaps even a new love -- she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect."

Even though Peggy will be moving from one coast to another, James D'Arcy and Gjokaj will reprise their roles as Peggy's begrudging sidekick, Edwin Jarvis, and her coworker, Daniel Sousa, though it appears that Sousa will now be her boss. The new season will also feature Madame Masque as an antagonist.

Starring Atwell and D'Arcy, "Agents Carter" season two is expected to air in January 2016 during "Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" midseason break on ABC.
