Following ABC's cancellation of Roseanne, fans are pushing for a number of shows to replace the comedy on the network's schedule. Chief among them would be the return of Agent Carter.Twitter's #AgentCarter hashtag has been packed with fans clamoring for a revival of the short-lived spy drama after a racist comment by Roseanne Barr spurred ABC to drop her high-rated show.

Inspired by Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger, Agent Carter was canceled in 2016 after two seasons, leaving fans wanting more of Haley Atwell's Peggy Carter.

The star addressed the fate of the series earlier this year, saying, "It’s a shame the network canceled it and wanted to put me in something more mainstream. You know, Marvel didn’t want it to end. There’s lots of online campaigns to bring her back. Fans loved her. I think it was just a network economical thing: ‘Let’s put Hayley Atwell in something more mainstream that’s less genre-specific and see if we can get higher ratings.'”
