After Avengers 4, What Are The Next 20 Marvel Movies?

2024 Marvel Movies

Captain Marvel 3

Marvel Studio has a couple of different routes it can take Captain Marvel's adventures. She's from Earth, but also has connections to the alien Kree, therefore also making her a cosmic character. Whether she's a member of the Avengers or the leader of Earth's Alpha Flight space program, Captain Marvel is a name we should all get comfortable seeing more of.

Depending on whether the young Ms. Marvel's MCU debut happens on TV or in the movies, she would make a great addition to Captain Marvel's cast as a wide-eyed fan who gets to team up with her idol.

Which leads us to our next entry...

Young Avengers

At this point, there should be a handful of teen heroes making a name for themselves fighting crime and saving the world from destruction. What if a group of them were so inspired by the Avengers that they decided to join together and call themselves the Young Avengers?

There are rumors that Avengers 4 will star Young Avengers members Wiccan and Speed, who are the children of Avengers teammates Vision and Scarlet Witch. All the Young Avengers would be missing are a Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), a Captain America stand-in (Patriot), Ant-Man's daughter Cassie Lang as Stature, and a time-traveling Kang the Conqueror as Iron Lad.

Thor 4

There's a new God of Thunder in the comics, and it's Thor's former flame, Jane Foster. Writer Jason Aaron's current run on Thor will go down in the record books for changing the status quo while also keeping the stories fresh and exciting.

Marvel Studios should do the same with the Thor franchise and bring Jane Foster back for a starring role. We haven't seen the character since 2013's Thor: The Dark World, with the studio choosing to cut any future appearances for the time being. If Odinson should ever find himself unworthy to lift Mjolnir, Jane would be the perfect replacement.

2025 Marvel Movies

Nova

Adding to Marvel Studios' roster of young heroes will be Sam Alexander aka Nova. Sam has appeared on different media platforms over the last few years, from animation to comic book series. Marvel is obviously high on the young human rocket, and his inclusion in the MCU will broaden its space reach and help offer a "fish out of water" approach as Sam travels from Earth to space.

Another Nova that can help mentor Sam is Richard Rider, who starred as Nova in the early '90s and has recently returned from the dead in the comics.

A-Force

The women of the MCU recently assembled for a 10-year anniversary photo, bringing together actors from across the studio's many films. While together for the photo, the women made sure to catch Kevin Feige's ear and let him know they're up for a superhero flick that brings all of the MCU's fiercest warriors together. Feige should listen to them and make this happen, naming the film after the Marvel comic A-Force.

Think of all the characters who could essentially appear in an A-Force movie: Black Widow, Gamora, Wasp, Nebula, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Okoye, and many more. A-Force would be the equals of the Avengers, and could help launch another film franchise.

Open

We're leaving our last entry open, with the hopes Marvel Studios continues to push the envelope and introduce new amazing characters from its massive library. Disney CEO Bob Iger told Vanity Fair that Marvel Studios "has rights to 7,000 characters, who can travel anywhere their creators wish to take them." With that many characters, the studio can pick and choose where it wants to take its shared universe in the future.
