As the King of Sloth Style, Orange Cassidy has proven to be one of AEW's breakout stars. He's not the only one, though, as Dr. Britt Baker has become the breakout star of the AEW Women's Division since her incredible heel turn. But rather than slowing her momentum down, Baker's recent injury has only amplified her profile thanks to her ongoing ridiculous promos and funny vignettes. The most recent vignette showed that Britt might actually be following in Cassidy's footsteps to become the new Queen of Sloth Style.

On the go home episode of Dynamite leading into Double or Nothing, Britt Baker was injured while participating in a tag team match. She'll be out of action for several months, but that has not stopped her from being a fixture of the Women's Division. During the first episode of Dynamite after the pay-per-view, Baker returned in a wheelchair to outline the conspiracy against her.

It's a conspiracy Baker has placed Referee Aubrey Edwards squarely at the center of. For anyone wondering how much evidence she has to support that theory, the answer is zero. But that's not going to slow Britt Baker down, no more than her injury has prevented her from remaining at the center of the Women's Division.

Baker popped up a week later as a part of two different segments. One saw her in her new ride being annoying during a match between Nyla Rose and Big Swole. Baker really seemed to piss Big Swole off, since she pulled a steel folding chair on Baker and chased her away from the ringside area. In the other segment, AEW aired a vignette highlighting all of the work Baker is putting into her recovery.

The only problem is that the "work" she's putting in doesn't seem to be particularly effective. It seems more like how Orange Cassidy would be handling the situation, as she exhausted herself trying to summon the energy necessary to lift a one pound weight, wheel herself slowly around for some cardio, and gently nudge the ropes in a battle rope exercise. The vast amount of the effort is being put in by Britt's associate Rebel, or Reba as Baker keeps calling her (No, Rebel hasn't gone through a name change, Baker just doesn't know what her name is). Fortunately, Britt's bestie Tony Schiavone is also present, cheering her on. She needs all the moral support she can get in this trying time.

Seeing Britt struggle to kind of try to do some of the exercises was almost inspiring. But it was exactly the lack of effort that Orange Cassidy would approve of. Perhaps he should take over her rehabilitation schedule, guiding Britt through the process of doing as little work as humanly possible while watching various entries in the Fast & Furious franchise together and working to perfect her 'thumbs up' skills.
