AEW's Cody Rhodes Declares the Dark Knight 'All Elite' on Batman Day

One of All Elite Wrestling's Executive Vice Presidents, Cody Rhodes, joined in the fun of Batman Day by officially declaring the Caped Crusader as a member of the All Elite roster and claiming he is #AllElite.

Rhodes, who also competes in-ring for AEW, uploaded an image to his Twitter account of Batman, as depicted in the '90s animated series. The image was flanked by the promotion's logo and a clear message stating "Batman is #AllElite."

The declaration is similar to previous announcements AEW has made when revealing new talent -- both in-ring and backstage -- that have signed to the company. This tradition includes Jon Moxley (formerly WWE's Dean Ambrose), Jim Ross, Dustin Rhodes, PAC (formerly WWE's Neville) and many, many more. Now Batman can be added to that growing list of international talent.

Cody's announcement was made alongside worldwide celebrations for DC Comics' beloved Batman, including New York City's Empire State Building being turned yellow in honor of the Gotham Knight.

Other cities that partook in the celebrations include Melbourne at Fed Square, Tokyo at MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 at Shibuya Scramble Crossin, Johannesburg at The Leonardo Building, Berlin at Potzdamer Platz 1, Rome at Roma Termini, Paris at Galeries Lafayette, Barcelona at Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, London at the Senate Hous, São Paulo at Itaúsa - LM, Montreal at Complex Dupuis, New York at the Domino Sugar Refinery, Mexico City at Torre Reforma, and Los Angeles at Los Angeles City Hall.
