All Elite Wrestling's flagship program, AEW: Dynamite, is only a week old, but it has already left a positive impact with fans worldwide. Some of that fandom may be due to some clever marketing, with ads for AEW appearing in recent issues of DC comics.

One ad in writer Warren Ellis and artist Bryan Hitch's The Batman's Grave #1 caught the eye of writer and musician Jonathan Diener, who snapped a photo for social media. The image includes two pages from The Batman's Grave, with the first featuring an actual comic page and the second an AEW ad. The way the two pages are laid out, it looks as if AEW superstar Cody is helping Batman during a fight with a criminal.

The caption with the image reads, "So @CodyRhodes jumps in to help Batman in the new @warrenellis series The Batman’s Grave." Hitch's artwork shows the Dark Knight applying a hold similar to the abdominal stretch that Cody is delivering to his older brother, Dustin Rhodes. Cody responded to the tweet with, "Lovin' being on these DC pages."

Cody Rhodes made a surprise appearance during New York Comic Con, crashing an All Elite Wrestling panel that featured Brandi Rhodes, Awesome Kong, Jungle Boy, Nyla Rose, Jon Moxley (formerly WWE’s Dean Ambrose) and current AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. Rhodes approached the panel and ended up trading blows with Jericho.

Their issues stem from AEW’s premiere episode of Dynamite. Jericho attacked Rhodes after his victory over Sammy Guevara in AEW’s first-ever televised match. Rhodes is scheduled to challenge Jericho for the AEW World Championship at the promotion’s upcoming pay-per-view, Full Gear.

AEW: Dynamite airs weekly on TNT at 8 pm ET.
