Khan said that the company planned to bring in Cage when he became a free agent, but that was delayed due to injuries. When AEW learned that Cage would be cleared for a return in May, the company booked him for Double or Nothing. Khan also said the company never told Cage its plans for him, joking that they kayfabed him. Khan said they put a rocket on the big man and believe in him delivering as a massive star.

Cage came in as the surprise 10th entrant in the Casino Ladder Match and outlasted some of the best performers in AEW to win the poker chip and earn the title shot. Ring legend Taz will work as the manager for Cage; Moxley mentioned that if Taz manages as he fought, this won't be an easy title defense.

There is no word on when Fyter Fest 2020 will take place, but Khan said they will reveal more on Dynamite this Wednesday.
