While the beloved animated series Adventure Time concluded its main series over two years ago, a series of specials streaming on HBO Max have continued the fantasy story for its fan-favorite characters.
A released trailer for Adventure Time: Distant Lands - Obsidian recently confirmed the second special's release date for Nov. 19 on HBO Max. The upcoming special will focus on Marceline the Vampire Queen and Princess Bubblegum as they team up to defeat a revived enemy from the Glass Kingdom.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands - BMO premiered on HBO Max in June, focusing on BMO traveling through time and space to rebuild civilization. Distant Lands will run for four specials in all, each with a different set of protagonists with future specials titled Wizard City and Together Again.
Created by Pendleton Ward, Adventure Time follows a young boy named Finn the Human and his loyal canine companion and best friend Jake the Dog. One thousand years after a cataclysmic event, the duo navigates the series' fantasy world, making new friends and triumphing over the forces of darkness.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands - BMO is currently available to stream on HBO Max. Adventure Time: Distant Lands - Obsidian is set to premiere on HBO Max on Nov. 19.
