Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott constantly relives one awkward Boy Meets World moment.

Scott recently appeared on the podcast Pod Meets World to discuss a decades-old humiliating experience with his co-stars Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle. The Severance actor claimed that Strong refused to high-five or hug him after filming the Season 2 finale, which premiered in 1995. "Literally, this has been tugging on me for 29 years," Scott said. As a result of his confession, Strong denied any recollection of the uncomfortable exchange. It's unclear if Scott felt any relief after opening up about the incident.

Scott entered the television industry as the recurring character Griff Hawkins on four episodes of the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World. The '90s coming-of-age series starred Ben Savage as Cory Matthews and Fishel as Topanga Lawrence. Boy Meets World follows Cory and his friends throughout high school and, eventually, his romantic relationship with Topanga. On Disney Channel's spinoff, Girl Meets World, Savage and Fishel reprised their roles as married parents.

Adam Scott's Career

Beyond Boy Meets World, Scott gained further fame playing Josh Macon on seven episodes of Fox's Party of Five but didn't receive his big break until his role as Ben Wyatt in the comedy sitcom Parks and Recreation. On the NBC show, Scott played a state auditor and the former mayor of Partridge, MN, at only 18 years old. However, Ben's age, combined with his inexperience, sent the town into a financial depression with his "Ice Town" plans. Despite causing a governmental disaster, Ben eventually falls in love with deputy director Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler).

Scott also served as a producer for the short-lived sitcom Party Down and played Henry Pollard. In December 2022, Starz unveiled an official teaser for the long-awaited Season 3 of Party Down. Twelve years after Season 2 ended, the series brings back Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Megan Mullally. Additionally, a Season 3 trailer features Jennifer Garner as Evie, a movie producer dating Scott's character.

Also, Scott will reportedly portray a young Benjamin Parker, the paternal uncle of Peter Parker, in Madame Web. Actors like Cliff Robertson and Martin Sheen have previously played the character. Madame Web serves as the fifth entry in Sony's Spider-Man Universe. Other installments include 2018's Venom and 2022's Morbius. Aaron Taylor Johnson's Kraven the Hunter and a third Venom movie will also expand the SSU.

Season 3 of Party Down will premiere on Feb. 24, on Starz. Madame Web opens in theaters on Oct. 6.
