Uncut Gems actor Adam Sandler debuted a new tune on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which has been airing without a live audience and through video chats in wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Before ending a recent segment, Fallon asked Sandler to perform his new Quarantine Song, and the actor readily obliged.

Referencing the medical teams that have been battling the virus across the world, Sandler's lyrics included lines such as, "God bless Italian doctors in Italy and all the Spanish doctors in Spain. And God bless Chinese doctors in China and also Chinese doctors in America." He touched upon the reported medical supply shortages, saying: "We've gotta build some ventilators and make 'em more masks, we gotta do it now so let's all come together. I'm teaching math to my kids, and that can't be good for America." Sandler closed the song with a plea to people watching, asking them to stay quarantined.

Communities across the globe have echoed some of  the sentiments present in the song-- many cities have made grand displays in gratitude for the work of healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic, all of who continue to face hundreds of new cases every day. The World Health Organization, among other notable medical authorities, have encouraged self-isolation and the practice of proper hygiene in order to limit the spread of coronavirus.
