As one of the most iconic pop culture franchises on Earth, Star Wars has more than its fair share of obsessive fans. However, some of those fans take things to the extreme, as evidenced by a new revelation from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
While promoting his latest film, Marriage Story, Driver recalled that a fan dressed as Kylo Ren had been stalking him in a hotel, hoping to track down the actor.
"They were asking people in the elevator if they’d seen me! That makes you a little nervous," Driver told Total Film.
Driver first appeared as Kylo Ren in 2015's The Force Awakens. Revealed to be the son of Leia Organa and Han Solo before embracing the dark side of the Force, Kylo joined Supreme Leader Snoke and led the First Order to combat the Resistance for the fate of the galaxy. Driver would reprise his role as Kylo in 2017's The Last Jedi, taking command of the First Order after killing Snoke, with The Rise of Skywalker expected to serve as his climactic confrontation with Rey.
Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film arrives December 20.
