The rumor mill keeps churning out potential tidbits about Zack Snyder's Batman Vs. Superman, with rumblings emerging earlier this week that Nightwing might appear in the Man of Steel sequel. But today speculation returns once again to Wonder Woman.

Variety reports that three actresses -- Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace), Gal Godot (Fast & Furious) and Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) -- are testing for a role described as "tall, brunette, athletic and exotic." Of course, that sets off the Wonder Woman radar, but as the site and its sources go on to say, it's possible the part is that of Bruce Wayne's romantic girlfiend. Recently Thor: The Dark World actress Jamie Alexander also said she'd been in talks with Warner Bros. about a project, but didn't offer any specifics.

Following the Variety story, The Hollywood Reporter's Boris Kyt tweeted that he had heard "Wonder Woman will not be in Supes vs Batman. But a certain Diana may show up. And I'm pretty confident these tests are not for WW, who will have a minor minor role. This is Supes vs Bats. Not Supes vs Bats vs WW."

Whatever the part might be, the actress who gets the gig will join Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Batman Vs. Superman opens July 17, 2015.
