Other roles that have made Fairley famous are her performance as Ava Hessington in Suits and Margot Al-Harazi in 24: Live Another Day.

A year before becoming Lady of Winterfell, Michelle Fairley appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 as Hermione's unnamed muggle mother, Mrs. Granger. In the same year he took the Doctor's mantle in Doctor Who, David Tennant appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as Barty Crouch Jr., one of Voldemort's acolytes and the mastermind behind Voldemort's final resurrection.
