This one is very nearly a possibility. It is rumored that Anya is up for the role of Princess Arulan in a Dune sequel, and fans are over the moon with this news. Anya Taylor Joy is a talented rising star whose debut film The VVitch stunned audiences. Projects like The Queen's Gambit have only cemented her talent. Similarly, Denis has an eye for young talent and emotional, slow, immense experiences.

It is safe to say that if Anya were to be cast in any project by Denis Villeneuve, audiences would be in for a treat. Denis really brings out the small subtleties in actors' performances, and anyone who's watched Anya's filmography knows she is more than capable of bringing a lot to the table.

7 Lily James And Greta Gerwig Are A Match Made In Heaven

Greta Gerwig, Lily James

Viewers of Pam and Tommy were shocked when they realized Lily James’ name was credited as Pamela Anderson. But on top of her powers of transformation, James also excels in playing humble down to earth characters. She brings a tangible realism to films like Cinderella, Baby Driver, and Darkest Hour and director Greta Gerwig would be great at showing that off.

Little Women and Francis Ha not only present great performances, but they are dripping with charm, realism, and likeability. It’s not hard to picture James in such a world, and it would be incredibly satisfying.

Fans are shocked at the all-star cast of Nolan’s new film Oppenheimer, but Nolan is no stranger to A-list talent. Nolan is incredible at crafting broad, epic blockbusters with amazing casts. The Dark Knight, Inception, and Tenet are famous for their complex narratives and amazing performances.

Likewise, actor Paul Dano has drawn much praise from critics for his raw and realistic approach to acting and has similarly been involved with incredible projects. There Will be Blood, Prisoners, and 12 Years A Slave are more than adequate proof that Dano and Nolan would make a great team.
