A new "Men In Black" game arrives next springWith a third "Men In Black" movie coming to theaters next May -- with series mainstays Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in tow -- it's no surprise a video game is following closely behind. Activision has announced that it is hard at work on a new "Men In Black" game. The new title is being developed by Fun Labs, responsible for 2009's "Chaotic: Shadow Warriors" as well as a wealth of hunting and fishing games.

In "MiB," players will take on the role of one of the Men In Black agents, using high tech weapons and gadgets (like the de-neurolizer) in an attempt to keep the world safe from invading alien forces. It'll be a completely separate story from the one being told in the upcoming "Men In Black III" film, though it will retain the same level of action, humor and special effects.

"The 'Men In Black' franchise is an unbeatable starting point to deliver a genre-bending gaming experience with a level of production value on par with Hollywood," said David Oxford, Executive Vice President of Activision Publishing, Inc. Mark Caplan, Vice President of Licensing at Sony Pictures Entertainment, stated, "With Activision bringing the Men In Black universe to life on next gen consoles for the first time, the 'Men In Black' video game will be both familiar to fans, an exciting beginning for the uninitiated, and revolutionary for the franchise."

The game will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and other platforms next spring in time for the new film's release.
