After already making stops in Los Angeles., Boston, Phoenix andSeattle the Actionopolis national tour kicks into high gear thisweekend, with Actionistas set to make appearances at our nation'scapital on the east coast, and the auto capital on the north coast.
First stop: Actionopolis publishers and founders Shannon Eric Dentonand Patrick Coyle are headed to Washington D.C. this weekend for BookExpo America (http://www.bookexpoamerica.com/). The guys will besetting up shop at booth #4052 and displaying advance copies of thefirst titles in the line.
Simultaneously: Actionopolis authors will be out in force at the MotorCity Comic-Con (http://www.motorcityconventions.com/) near Detroit,Michigan. Manning the historic, first-ever Actionopolis comicconvention booth will be Dan Mishkin ("The Forest King"), WilliamMessner Loebs (author of the just-announced "Toltec"), Gary Reed("Spirit of the Samurai") and Rob M. Worley ("Heir to Fire"). Thiswill be the first chance for comic fans to see the new books.
Both shows run May 19th – May 21st.
To date Actionopolis has announced summer and fall release dates forseven illustrated prose chapter books written and illustrated by someof the most well-known and exciting creators from comics, animation,film and other media.
