It's the comic book 80 years in the making: DC's Action Comics #1000, which arrives on April 18. The issue includes an all-star list of contributors, including Geoff Johns, Dan Jurgens, Jim Lee, Louise Simonson, Jerry Ordway, Tom King, Clay Mann, Tim Sale, John Cassaday, José Luis García-López, the late Curt Swan and more, including Brian Michael Bendis' Superman debut, illustrated by Jim Lee.
To further celebrate the milestone, DC will also release the Action Comics: 80 Years of Superman hardcover, celebrating the history of the character by collecting multiple stories from the past eight decades.
