Who Else Is in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse?

Chen isn't the only character rumored to be showing up in live-action form either. Industry insider Jeff Sneider previously suggested Tom Holland could also crop up, with his version of Spider-Man meeting Miles Morales as his Spider-Force team explore alternate universes. Sneider stated, "I'd heard that part of the delay of [Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse] was about getting Tom Holland in that movie, and that one of the dimensions that Miles could end up going to is a live-action dimension with Tom Holland's [Spider-Man]." However, no appearance has been officially confirmed for the actor in Across the Spider-Verse yet.

There has been plenty of talk about more potential crossovers between the Spider-Verse and the Marvel Cinematic Universe too. With the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home exploring the ideas of a multiverse and having multiple Spider-Men involved in the same timeline, a report has suggested that Across The Spider-Verse will touch on this event and speak about the repercussions of it. This talk will see characters involved in the upcoming sequel mention the Multiverse being a "mess" due to a "certain event" and Doctor Strange's name will also get a mention. This would create a link between the animated series and all of the ongoing MCU efforts.

Across The Spider-Verse will see Shameik Moore reprise his role as the titular character Miles Morales, with Jake Johnson also returning as Peter B. Parker and Hailee Steinfeld playing Gwen Stacy's Spiderwoman. With the plot continuing to follow Morales' adventures across the Spider-Verse, more characters are pencilled in to appear. Spider-Man India is set to make a first appearance for example, with Karan Soni providing voice work. In addition, actor Daniel Kaluuya is also set to join the Spider-Verse sequel, with the actor set to play the part of Spider-Punk.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse will hit theaters on June 2, 2023.
