One more question has been answered about Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: its premiere date. ABC has announced that the series, created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, will bow Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Well before that, however, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have a panel Friday at Comic-Con International with announced guests Joss Whedon and Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb. Expect more faces on the stage, though, as Tancharoen teased last week that the identity of J. August Richards’ character will be revealed in San Diego, but fans will have to wait a while to learn how Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson survived The Avengers.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. also stars Ming-Na as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Gemma Simmons, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Chloe Bennet as Skye.
