Here is the latest in our year-long look at one cool comic (whether it be a self-contained work, an ongoing comic or a run on a long-running title that featured multiple creative teams on it over the years) a day (in no particular order whatsoever)! Here's the archive of the comics posted so far!

Here's one last Christmas comic! A Brave and the Bold with Batman and Plastic Man by Bob Haney, Joe Staton and Jim Aparo!

Enjoy!

The set-up of the issue is that a group of tobacco smugglers have made a few brazen heists. Batman visits Gotham's beautiful Lacey's Christmas display...

Then the display is stolen! Plastic Man is stolen along with it (the bad guys figured that they needed a Santa Claus for the display). Batman tracks it down (with a helpful clue by Plastic Man) and the pair fight off the mob.

The reason for the theft is that the head smuggler is pretending to be dying and wanting to have one last Christmas party for all of the rival smugglers, who he will now cut into his business. However, it is really a trick - he plans to kill them all.

Not if Batman and Plastic Man have anything to say about!!

The comic is completely absurd and off-the-wall, but in a charming way.

And Staton and Aparo's artwork is sharp and well-done.

A good Christmas issue!
