A Year of Cool Comics - Day 348

Here is the latest in our year-long look at one cool comic (whether it be a self-contained work, an ongoing comic or a run on a long-running title that featured multiple creative teams on it over the years) a day (in no particular order whatsoever)! Here's the archive of the comics posted so far!

We continue the Cool Christmas Comic Countdown with a bizarre Pinky and the Brain Christmas Special, courtesy of writers David Cody Geiss and Bobbi JG Geiss and artists Walter Carzon and Mike DeCarlo....

In case you are unfamiliar with the animated series, Pinky and the Brain, SHAME ON YOU!!! Seriously, though, it is a cool show about these two lab mice who try different ways to take over the world (Brain is the guy who comes up the nefarious plots).

In this Christmas Special (from 1996), Brain has an idea...

This, of course, sets up the plot that they have to go to the North Pole to pretend to be elves to get access to the toys...

As you can see, hilarity ensues - and it just gets wackier and crazier as the issue goes on.

This was a real treat of an issue by the Geisses, and the artwork was strong. This is a really underrated Christmas special (mostly because I doubt many people even know about it).
