Today we look at The Tick Big Halloween Special from 2000!

The comic, written by Clay and Susan Griffith with artwork by Dave Garcia, is a pretty standard madcap Tick adventure, and there sure isn't anything wrong with that!

The story opens with Tick and Arthur going to buy a pumpkin for Halloween, but the pumpkins all come to life and start attacking them. A Rambo-esque agent from the FDA shows up to save them, and here's where we get the basic set-up of the issue...











I love that Juice Newton joke.

In any event, the story goes just about the way you would expect, but the way you would expect I presume would be a really fun story with lots of offbeat action (which is exactly what it is).
