Here is the latest cool comic book moment in our year-long look at one cool comic book moment a day (in no particular order whatsoever)! Here's the archive of the moments posted so far!

Two months later, let's finish the cool moments from Hellblazer #71, by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon!

Okay, if you recall the first part, John Constantine's life was in shambles and was basically just a homeless bum waiting to die by the sea in England. However, one night, after a drunken binge, he passes out next to a crashed airplane from World War II. Constantine's magical powers allows him to re-live the last moments of the pilot's life, where the pilot strove to live, no matter what.

Constantine awakes, startled.

He is now inspired, leading to the following awesome turnaround...

What a great moment, as Constantine is inspired to turn around his life.

When Ennis decides to go for uplifting, he's sure as heck great at it (and Dillon is awesome, as usual).

Thanks so much to all the folks who offered me scans of this issue (I misplaced my copy after posting Part 1), and special thanks to layne (of And Plus! fame - it's nuts how long he and I have both been doing the blog thing).
