We continue our spotlight on Spider-Man Christmas stories with 1978's "Sword the She-Devil" from Marvel Team-Up #79 by Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Terry Austin...

This is the last of the Spider-Man stories on the list where Christmas is more of a backdrop than being the actual driving force of the narrative. From here on out, it's just total Christmas stories featuring the webslinger.

Anyhow, in this awesome comic book, Peter goes to the Daily Bugle Christmas party (where Clark Kent is visiting!) and meets up with Mary Jane, just in time for her to be transformed into Red Sonja!!

Awesome action and great artwork ensue. Not much of a Christmas story, but gosh darn, it was a hell of a comic book!
