A Quiet Place 2, the follow-up to the 2018 original, has dropped an official trailer, but fans will only be able to see it alongside the holiday thriller Black Christmas.

ScreenRant reports the trailer for the second film picks up immediately after the first and "shows Evelyn walking with the children along a trail through a forest, being extremely careful not to make a sound."  Although only running a brief 20 seconds, the trailer reveals the family is still facing similar challenges as in the first. The trailer for the sequel also suggests the follow-up will maintain the same visual aesthetic and style as the first film.

The first installment of The Quiet Place, written, directed, and starring John Krasinski and real-life wife Emily Blunt, explored a post-apocalyptic world in which blind aliens terrorized people. Krasinski and Blunt play a married couple who try to escape danger by moving to a remote, rural house. A Quiet Place did extremely well at the box office, grossing $340 million worldwide, so expectations for the sequel are high. In addition to keeping the original cast, the sequel has added Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy and Shazam! actor Djimon Hounsou.

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place 2 stars Emily Blunt, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds and Cillian Murphy. The film hits theaters March 20, 2020.
