During the discussion of the February Solicitations, I made a comment about David Michael Beck’s cover to Jonah Hex #40, about how it appeared as though it had computer effects.
David stopped by to explain that there were no computer effects, and with the book’s release today, I only thought it fair to point out the correction in its own entry. Sorry for mistake, David!
In my “defense,” the solicited copy looks quite a bit different than the published cover (in my estimation). In the published cover, it is quite clear that it is just an old-scool oil painting.

The actual cover is much less shiny, which is what made me think it looked like computer effects were used.
