While Halloween is over, that does not mean there are no more thrills and chills to look forward to this November. Fans can expect to return to some of their favorite franchises, with Ghostbusters, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Dexter and Resident Evil, but there are also some new shows and films to check out this month for those looking for a good horror movie or thriller.

Red Notice - Nov. 5, Netflix

Three of the biggest actors in the superhero genre -- Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Dwayne the Rock Johnson (Black Adam) -- are teaming up for this heist film. Netflix's Red Notice is about an interpol agent going after one of the biggest thieves in the world of international crime.

Narcos: Mexico - Nov. 5, Netflix

Netflix has been a home to some amazing series about the different parts of the criminal world, and both Narcos and Narcos: Mexico gave viewers a glimpse into the lives of the narcotic officers and drug traffickers. Narcos: Mexico is about the roots of the series, but that origin is finally coming to an end with this final season.

Dexter: New Blood - Nov. 7, Showtime

Dexter was one of Showtime's most popular series. It followed Dexter Morgan, a blood pattern analyst who worked alongside the cops; however, when the justice system fails, he kills murderers who got away. The series "ended" on its eighth season; however, the series is back, with the events of New Blood happening ten years after the finale.

Yellowjackets - Nov. 14, Showtime

New to Showtime, Yellowjackets is set to deliver a new take on the survival narrative. Years ago, the girls of a high school soccer team were stranded in the wilderness, but they somehow survived the unexpected. 25 years later, and this nightmare is coming back to haunt them in mysterious ways.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife - Nov. 19, Theaters

Since 1984, Ghostbusters has been a staple of pop culture, and it's getting a new take this November. Ghostbusters: Afterlife seems to be connected to the original films, this time following a new generation of heroes. Instead of adults, these hunters are a group of kids who've discovered that their new home has the equipment necessary to take down the ghost threat that is targeting their small town.

House of Gucci - Nov. 24, Theaters

House of Gucci hosts a star studded cast, with Lady Gaga and Adam Driver playing the lead roles in this true crime thriller. Based on the real lives of Patrizia and Maurizio Gucci, this film is set to document their tense marriage and the murder that is born out of it.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City - Nov. 24, Theaters

Resident Evil, based on the popular video game, has spawned several films about this unique world of zombies. Welcome to Racoon City takes fans back to the home of the Umbrella Corporation. After the company fled, they left behind something evil that is coming out to cause chaos, and the survivors are the ones who must deal with the aftermath.

Hawkeye - Nov. 24, Disney+

While What If...? gave fans a major Marvel fix, Disney+ is taking a break from the animated side of the MCU to return to the live-action adventures of Hawkeye. Seemingly pulling from Matt Fraction and David Aja's Hawkeye run, this six episode series sets Clint Barton to take on a new criminal threat alongside Kate Bishop, the other Hawkeye in the comics.
