Things are picking up for 300: Battle of Artemesia, the upcoming prequel to Zack Snyder's 300 that we learned in July will be directed by Noam Murro. The movie will tell a "different story," according to producer Bernie Goldmann, speaking in an interview with Movies.com, but you might see some familiar faces in there.

"There's a small part for Lena [Headey]. There's a small part for [Gerard Butler]," Goldmann said. Butler of course starred in the 2006 blockbuster as the Spartan king Leonidas. Headey didn't see nearly as much action as his wife Queen Gorgo, instead getting caught up in the film's political intrigue. Battle of Artemesia will feature a new starring cast, but fans of the original should be pleased to hear that these original players might be returning.

Goldmann also isn't opposed to casting unknowns for the film's key roles. "For me, as an audience, it always brings me into the movie more," he said. "You can’t see Tom Cruise in a historical movie. You go, 'That’s Tom Cruise!'"
