3 Chicks Review Comics - Episode 038

Inside this episode! We review the first issue of the new mini-series America's Got Powers by Jonathan Ross and Bryan Hitch, and Paul Cornell and Ryan Kelly's Saucer Country #2. We then talk to writer Marjorie Liu about her new book Astonishing X-Men, her work on Black Widow and X-23, as well as some of the pitches that never came to be (cry!), and the publishing industry in general. There's also a whole lotta love for the phenomenal Phil Noto. In honor of Liu's Black Widow, and the recently released Black Widow clip from the upcoming Avengers movie, I give Chick of the Week to Natasha Romanov herself. We also talk about some other fun stuff like the upcoming Batman movie, Hunger Games, Brian Wood's ongoing amazing projects, like his upcoming Mara with fantastic Ming Doyle art, as well as Becky Cloonan's illustrated Dracula book.
