3 Chicks Review Comics - Episode 013!

Important note! We're moving the 3 Chicks Podcast to Mondays at noon and it will run alternating weeks with She Has No Head!, so this week - a new episode of 3 Chicks, and next week - a new She Has No Head!, then back here again on March 28th for another episode of 3 Chicks...follow CSBG and Kelly on twitter, so that you never miss a post or podcast!

Inside this episode! We take a look at Heroes For Hire #4 to discuss Misty Knight's battle for control (ha! puns!) against The Puppet Master. We also take a look at Batgirl #19, according to the cover, penciled by Dustin Nguyen - not so!  Can it hold up without Nguyen on board?  The Hot Topic this week is a discussion about the lack of women creators at the big two, brought on by the alarming revelation that there is only one woman (a cover artist inker) involved for the entire Flashpoint Event from DC.  We also take a look at some great stats compiled by Tim Hanley at Straightened Circumstances. And we talk briefly about the new Batwoman book delays, and J.H. Williams III's concerning statement regarding the delays. Kelly picks this week’s CHICK OF THE WEEK, and it's a woman everyone knows and loves and we've talked about frequently, with good reason (don't worry Greg, it's not Cass Cain!). Plus everyone’s pick of the week.

Episode links!: Marge Gunderson!, Ada Lovelace!, 1980's Businesswoman!, Aquaman!, Collected Hark A Vagrant!, hell yes!, Fat Pony Baby Onesie!, Wonder Woman!, The Great Gatsby!, Nancy Drew!, X-Men!, Sexy Batman!, Oscar Eisners!, Mr. Darcy!, Strange Tales II!, aaaannnnnd Shop! Also, Proxy v Oracle!

3 Chicks Review Comics is a podcast featuring female comics lovers and bloggers Sue from DC Women Kicking Ass, and Maddy from When Fangirls Attack! along with me, Kelly Thompson. Tune in weekly to CSBG Tuesdays at 2pm as we review comics, and discuss hot topics of the week. Don’t forget to subscribe to our cast via iTunes, so you never miss an episode (the subscribe button is on the main page on the bottom right).  In addition to the blogs above, you can also follow us all on twitter as well: Kelly, Maddy, and Sue. Special thanks to Nik Furious for our awesome 3 Chicks theme song.
