25 Greatest Deadpool Stories: #10-6

In honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Deadpool this month, we're doing a countdown of your favorite Deadpool stories of all-time.

You all voted, now here are the results of what you chose as the 25 Greatest Deadpool Stories!

10. "Dead Presidents" Deadpool (Volume 3) #1-6

The start of Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn's run on Deadpool began with this offbeat storyline with art by Tony Moore and Val Staples, where the dead Presidents of the United States have been revived and now they want to destroy our current country and start all over again. Deadpool has been tasked to re-kill all of them. Along with him on this journey is the ghost of Benjamin Franklin (from Steve Englehart's Doctor Strange run). It is bizarrely awesome...

Duggan and Posehn made it quickly known how right they were for the character.

9. "Dracula's Gauntlet" Deadpool: Dracula's Gauntlet #1-7

Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn and Reilly Brown delivered this mini-series which introduced Deadpool to his wife, the vampire, Shiklah...

It's a fun, over-the-top adventure with surprising heart.

8. "Dead Reckoning" Deadpool (Volume 1) #23-25

This was sort of the climax to Joe Kelly's run on Deadpool ("sort of" because Kelly never really knew WHEN his run on Deadpool was ending, exactly), as Deadpool must become the savior of the planet, however, what he is SAVING the planet from is world peace. Captain America tried to stop the invasion, but he failed and now Cap is possessed by the invading force. So Deadpool must ask himself - what is more important, freedom or world wide happiness? His answer is delivered in a way only Joe Kelly could deliver it (the art is by Walter McDaniel and a bunch of different inkers)...

Perhaps the most classic moment ever involving Captain America getting kicked in the balls.
