With the flurry of casting news surrounding the in-production 24: Live Another Day, something was bound to give.

Here's that something: Deadline reports that Judy Davis has tapped out of the 24 revival, citing personal matters. The two-time Golden Globe winner was set to play one of the miniseries' new villains, a British national and the wife of a deceased terrorist. Davis' departure isn't expected to affect production, and a replacement actor should be cast soon.

Even with Davis out, the cast of 24: Live Another Day is large, with an impressive lineup of newcomers that features Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt, Colin Salmon, Tate Donovan, John Boyega and Stephen Fry. Returning 24 players include Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, Kim Raver as Audrey Raines, William Devane as James Heller and Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe O'Brian.

24: Live Another Day premieres May 5 on Fox.
