Centered on pop culture, Comic-Con International in San Diego has grown into a bonafide phenomenon over the years, with people from all across the globe showing up for the various panels, celebrities parties and creators at the event. At SDCC 2019, guests can expect many more surprises and announcements from some of the top TV shows. We've compiled a list of panels attendees and those following along at home can't miss.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (July 18, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM, Hall H)
For the first time ever, the cast and the producers of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will attend SDCC, where they'll give an exclusive on the conclusion for Season 6 and tell fans what they can expect in Season 7 of the action-packed series from Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
DreamWorks She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, a Netflix Original Series (July 19, 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM, Room 6BCF)
Netflix’s She-Ra and the Princess of Power will offer a sneak peek at Season 3 of the highly-anticipated animated series, which has won fans over during the course of its two critically-acclaimed seasons. Executive producer Noelle Stevenson will attend with stars Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, Marcus Scribner and Lauren Ash also present.
DuckTales (July 19, 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM, Room 6A)
The cast and crew of Disney Channel’s hit series DuckTales will give an inside look at footage from never-before-seen episodes of the show and discuss what fans can expect from Season 3. Cast members Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci and Paget Brewster will be in attendance.
Fear the Walking Dead (July 19, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Hall H) & The Walking Dead (July 19, 1:00 PM - 2 PM, Hall H)
The Walking Dead and its sister series, Fear The Walking Dead, are two of the most popular shows on TV right now. The Fear the Walking Dead panel will feature the cast and producers discussing the midseason finale and other aspects of the show There will also be a preview trailer shown about what is to come in the second half of the season that will be premiering in August.
The Walking Dead will address the show’s upcoming tenth season and provide an inside look at a new trailer before it returns in October.
Rick and Morty (July 19, 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM, Indigo Ballroom)
Fans are clamoring for the return of Emmy Award-winning series Rick and Morty for its fourth season, which will premiere on Adult Swim in November. The show's SDCC panel will provide an exclusive first look at what to expect for this new season. Executive producers and co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland will be in attendance with the show's cast and crew.
The Witcher: A Netflix Original Series (July 19, 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM, Hall H)
Fantasy fans everywhere will be excited to see the adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher book series into a streaming series on Netflix, which will be available this fall. The panel will give fans fans an inside scoop of this highly anticipated show, which stars DC Extended Universe alum Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. The show tells the gripping story of family, fate and good versus evil.
Netflix's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (July 19, 3:30 PM - 5:15 PM, Hall H)
Based on Jim Henson's 1982 feature film The Dark Crystal, the Age of Resistance panel will feature the cast and creators in attendance answering questions the audience has about the upcoming adaptation. The panel will feature a sneak peek at the series, showing how the production has brought Thra to life.
Game of Thrones Panel and Q&A Session (July 19, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Hall H)
Recently, HBO’s Emmy-and Golden Globe Award-winning Series Game of Thrones ended, breaking records for the network single telecast and premiere night viewing. Producers and cast members will discuss and answer various questions about the drama series. Panelists include Jacob Anderson, John Bradley, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Liam Cunningham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Iain Glen, Conleth Hill, Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead Wright.
DC Universe (July 20, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Indigo Ballroom)
DC Universe's panel will feature various stars and producers from the streaming service's series and give fans the latest updates and sneak previews of upcoming shows like Titans, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn and Young Justice: Outsiders.
Supernatural Special Video Presentation and Q&A (July 21, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, Hall H)
The cast and the executive producers of Supernatural will be making their final appearance at Comic-Con this year. Fans can expect to hear many from the shows stars and producers about the shocking events of latest season’s intense finale, while finding out what will happen on the show's final season. The panel will also be showing an exclusive video presentation of the show’s highlights and a special Q&A.
Westworld III (July 20, 1:15 PM - 2:15 PM, Hall H)
With the return of HBO’s Emmy-winning series Westworld, the cast, producers, and directors will be informing fans of what to expect for the show's next season. Thandie Newton, Aaron Paul, Tessa Thompson, Evan Rachel Wood and Jeffrey Wright will appear alongside creators, executive producers and directors Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy to give fans an exclusive look at the forthcoming third season.
SDCC 2019 will be the last time Arrow appears at the convention, as the show will start its eighth and final season this fall. The Arrow panel will be held on July 20 from 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM in Ballroom 20 and reveal more about the end of the show that launched the Arrowverse and the fate of Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen.
There are also a lot of different Arrowverse panels at SDCC 2019, including a sneak peek at the premiere of Batwoman (July 17, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Ballroom 20l July 20, 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM, Ballroom 20), Supergirl (July 20, 4:15 PM - 5:00 PM, Ballroom 20), Black Lightning (July 20, 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM, Ballroom 20) and Flash (July 20, 5:45 PM - 6:30 PM, Ballroom 20). Those will likely provide a better look at the Arrowverse when it returns this fall.
This year’s SDCC 2019 will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 18 to July 21.
