Numerologists and fans of the supernatural, expect to have a field day with the new project from Saw franchise director Darren Lynn Bousman. Called 11-11-11, it's going to be released on November 11th, 2011. Sensing a theme yet?
The movie, which aims to hook into the "11:11" movement - in which people believe that angels or ghosts are trying to contact them using that number in some way - will center around the idea that the convergence of that important number will, at 11:11 on November 11th, 2011, lead to something bad escaping from Heaven and coming to Earth. But don't expect a lot of gore, says Bousman; this one will be more psychological:
With 'Saw' and 'Repo [The Genetic Opera],' my career has been about finding new ways to freak people out; that's what I want to do with this... We want to take this phenomenon and give it horrific purpose.
The movie, co-created by Bousman and Valentine's Day producer Wayne Rice, is being rushed into production as soon as possible to meet its drop-dead (no pun intended) release date, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
