The upcoming seventh and final season of The 100 is proceeding as planned, bringing the adventures of the last survivors of a nuclear armageddon to a close.

Ahead of the May season premiere date, the first episode title for Season 7 has been revealed as "From the Ashes," which suggests the main characters will rise from their recent hardships as they seek to rebuild human civilization elsewhere.

There, they encountered colonists who had lived on Sanctum for centuries, as well as the world's harsh environment, including mysterious temporal storms.

Principal photography on the series finale wrapped in early March ahead of ongoing concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It's currently unknown if the global health crisis will impact post-production on the series.
