Has it been only a year since we last saw everyone's favorite red-spandex wearing superhero that isn't afraid to drop a Fred Savage in every other sentence?  That's right, Deadpool 3 is now in production, and it won't be long for Wade Wilson to return to the big screen and entertain audiences with his signature 4th wall breaking antics.

With a new movie also brings the hope of seeing more characters brought into the crazy world that Ryan Reynolds plays in every few years. So, here are 10 characters we hope will make an appearance in Deadpool 3. Be it their first time in the Deadpool Universe or returning characters; they'll be counted.

10 Negasonic Teenage Warhead

One of the funniest characters in the Pool-Verse was Negasonic Teenage Warhead. This lovable gal was able to steal just about every scene she was in in the first Deadpool movie. When she returned for Deadpool 2, fans were disappointed by the lack of screentime she was given, especially since she helped Colossus defeat Juggernaut.

Deadpool 3 has to provide us with more time with our Mutant Teen and her Girlfriend, Yukio.

9 Gambit

While Deadpool and Gambit don't have much of a history together, the history of the now-canceled Gambit movie is bursting with potential jokes to be made at its expense. Maybe Remy LeBeau could show up, and Deadpool could make a joke about how long it's been since he was supposed to appear and now doesn't look like John Carter or Channing Tatum.

The World needs Gambit done right and not like how he was portrayed in Origins. If he's not in Deadpool 3, we may have to wait until the X-Men are merged into the MCU to see this explosive hero make his real debut.

8 Death

While Thanos wanted to save the Universe from over-population, his real reason for doing(in the comics) was so that he could impress his GF, Mistress Death. Death may not have appeared in the MCU, but it's high time that she made her appearance in at least one Marvel movie.

Deadpool has had plenty of brushes with her more than anyone else. The guy is always on her door every other day, so it's about time that she and he are seen on the big screen together. You could even have Thanos come in and fight for her honor.

7 Hugh Jackman

Deadpool and Wolverine have an... Interesting relationship with one another. Deadpool is continually trying to one-up Logan, while ole Wolvie can't be left in a room with Wade without trying to kill him. Seeing how Hugh Jackman said that he's done with Wolverine, it's unlikely that we'll ever get to see Logan and Wade duke it out. So, why not have Hugh Jackman play himself and make a cameo in Deadpool 3?

No Wolverine, no need to hide his accent, it would be perfect for the two. Or have Jackman cast in Detective Pikachu 2 as a talking Eevee.

6 Nick Fury

Since he first showed up in Iron Man, Nick Fury has been one that has connected everyone in the Marvel Universe. From his meeting with Captain Marvel to his recruiting of Tony Stark, he's done everything to bring together the greatest heroes on earth so that they may defend it from those who wish to do it harm.

So, why not have Nick Fury come in at the end of Deadpool 3 and tell him that there's not a god damn thing Wade can do that will make him consider Deadpool in the Avengers. The guy has caused more trouble to the earth by merely existing than anything that Thanos and Loki have done.

5 Captain America

Old Steve Rogers in Avengers: Endgame - MCU

After years of leading the Avengers, Steve Rogers was finally given a chance to retire at the end of Endgame and got that last dance with Peggy Carter. Wouldn't it be funny if, during his time traveling escapades, Wade would ruin this tender moment by telling how much of a terrible person Cap is?

Not for wanting to go back and be with his beloved Peggy, that's all good, but for realizing that he knows everything that's going to happen and not change a god damn thing. Come on, Wade went back to erase X-Men Origins AND Green Lantern from ever happening, and nothing was lost. Be a little more like Wilson and fix the timeline, Cap.

4 Elsa

Since Deadpool observed that "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" sounded suspiciously similar to "Papa, can you hear me," fans have noticed more and more of the similarities of the two songs? Seeing that Disney doesn't own the rights to Yentl and won't have Barbra Streisand make a cameo for a one-off joke, the most logical solution is to have Deadpool sit down and talk about other similarities that Frozen has with the 1983 movie.

Be it Idina Menzel dressed up as Elsa or Georgina Haig reprising her role from Once Upon a Time, Deadpool and Elsa together must happen.

3 Bob, Agent of Hydra

Fans were shocked to see Bob make an appearance in the original Deadpool. Seeing that Marvel and Disney owned the rights to Hydra, people weren't expecting to see the former soldier show up in a Fox movie.

However, during his fight with Ajax's men, Wade instantly recognized Bob and knocked him out. Now that Disney owns Fox, it would be fantastic for Deadpool and Bob's relationship to be further explored and reveal that he was a Hydra agent the whole time, but couldn't say he was due to copyright reasons.

2 Hit-Monkey

You're telling us that Hit-Monkey is getting an animated series, but Deadpool had his canceled while in production? Hit-Monkey is precisely what he sounds like; he's a hitman that's a monkey. Seeing that Deadpool's animated show may never see the light of day, we think that Wade should still get to blow off some steam by partaking in a fight with Hit-Monkey.

He may not seem like much, but this Monkey is one of Deadpool's deadliest foes... Just don't expect Spider-Man to come to his rescue.

1 The Zombie Presidents

When a Scottish Shield Agent feels like America needs its true heroes, he summons an army of the undead, that just so happens to be the various leaders of America. The only person who can stop them is Deadpool. After fighting Cable and Ajax in the last two movies, what better way to top the various Mutants that walked into Wade Wilson's path than multiple Presidents of the USA.

Each one of them gave Wade a challenge, from Teddy Rosevelt's hunting skills to George Washington's swordsmanship. If the world needs to see one thing before Global Warming destroys the Earth, it's seeing Deadpool fighting Honest Abe in a UFC cage match.
