A new Jurassic World Dominion image sends Chris Pratt's Owen Grady on the run from one of the franchise's most deadly dinosaurs: the velociraptor.

The action-packed still surfaced online, as part of Fandango's 2022 Summer movie preview. It depicts Grady riding a motorcycle at breakneck speed, with a raptor nipping at his heels. The scene recalls a similar moment in the first Jurassic World film in which Grady undertakes a recon mission astride a bike and is accompanied by his decidedly more friendly quartet of trained raptors Blue, Delta, Echo and Charlie.

Jurassic World Dominion Grady Raptor

Pratt previously acknowledged the similarity between Jurassic World Dominion's raptor chase and the motorcycle-based set piece featured in its predecessor. "There’s a dinosaur chase on motorcycles that resembles the dinosaur motorcycle beat from the first [Jurassic World movie], but it’s driven by a plot that makes sense. It’s not gratuitous. It actually makes sense and honors what was great in the previous films," he said. Pratt added that the sequence runs for roughly 12-13 minutes.

The star also opened up about how one of Jurassic World Dominion's scenes ended up being one of the most stunning of his career. "We did one sequence, which to me was one of the most beautiful things I have not only ever been a part of, but maybe that I have ever seen on film, where Owen is chasing down a pack of dinosaurs on horseback up in Kamloops, Canada," he recalled. "It’s meant to be snowy America. It’s so gorgeous. It’s like Yellowstone meets a dinosaur movie."

Pratt's latest outing as Owen Grady will apparently be his last, as the actor recently confirmed that Jurassic World Dominion will mark the end of the wider Jurassic Park franchise. "It's...30 years in the making, it's the sixth Jurassic film, it's the end of this franchise." He added that the return of Jurassic Park cast members Sam Neil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum in Dominion only confirmed his belief that the series' narrative is "converging in a way that is very much a finale."

Comments by Colin Trevorrow appear to support Pratt's position on the future of the franchise, as the director recently spoke about drawing iconic dinosaur Rexy's arc to a close in Jurassic World Dominion. "We all have a real love for [Rexy] as if she's a true character," he said. "So it was important for me throughout the course of these movies to take her on a journey and hopefully really make the audience want her to find peace."

Jurassic World Dominion premieres in theaters on June 10.
