New gameplay footage for "Berserk Musou" shines the spotlight on series villain Nosferatu Zodd. This thirty-second clip shows Zodd The Immortal cutting down hordes of men with his impressive sword skills. About halfway through the video, Zodd morphs into his Apostle form, ratcheting the carnage up to a whole new level.

Previous trailers from the game's producer, Koei Tecmo, featured protagonist Guts and his gigantic sword, and other characters displaying their skills in battle. There was Griffith dispatching foes with his dynamic one-handed sword techniques, Casca making short work of legions with her agility, and Schierke using her magic to devastating effect. "Berserk Musou" will also feature Judeau, Serpico and Wyald as playable characters.

The in-game story will start from the very beginning of the "Berserk" saga, bringing players up to the story unfolding in the grim and gritty new anime series.

"Berserk Musou," which promises to bring "Dynasty Warriors"-style action to the plot of the "Berserk" series, will be coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in Japan first, with a release date of October 27, 2016. It will be released in Western markets for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC sometime in the Fall of 2016. There are currently only tentative plans for a release on XBOX One.
