Warner Bros.' follow-up to "Man of Steel" already features the debut of Ben Affleck as Batman, and it'll unsurprisingly also include a new take on the DC Comics icon's signature ride, the Batmobile. Director Zack Snyder previewed the new version of the 75-year-old vehicle via Twitter on Morning morning, hinting at a fuller look to come as early as Tuesday.

The large wheels are reminiscent of the "Tumbler" from Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy, though the car appears to be slimmer than that design, and the overall shape appears to be closer to past Batmobiles.

The still-untitled "Man of Steel" sequel -- commonly colloquially referred to as "Batman vs. Superman" -- is set for release on May 6, 2016, and, along with Affleck, will star Henry Cavill (reprising his role as Superman from 2013's "Man of Steel"), Gal Gadot (the first big-screen live-action Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg/Victor Stone).
