No secret stays hidden forever, something proved once again this week by an intrepid movie fan who discovered an incredibly obscure Easter egg hidden in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."YouTube movie reviewer Critical Mas picked this interesting shot out of a fight scene in the Zack Snyder film:[EMBED_TWITTER]https://twitter.com/mas_critical/status/774008284055531521[/EMBED_TWITTER] The side-by-side comparison makes a strong case. The broken glass does resemble the outline of Ontario, and it's true that Superman co-creator Joe Shuster, was born in the Canadian province. Could this be something Snyder slipped in to the Warner Bros. film as a nod to the Man of Steel's roots.According to photographer Clay Enos, who's worked with Snyder on several projects, including "Batman v Superman" and the upcoming "Justice League," the answer is yes. He responded that he had shown the side-by-side shot to the director, who was pleased someone had "finally noticed."

Of course, not all took the confirmation as proof that the Easter egg was intentional. Some, still critical of Snyder and his film, speculated the likeness was coincidental and that the director was simply trying ingratiate himself with perturbed fans.

Snyder is currently filming "Justice League," starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher. The film opens Nov. 17, 2017.
