Young Justice was created by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman. Based on the DC team of the same name, the show centered on young heroes like Robin, Kid-Flash, Aqualad and Superboy, but despite being a fan-favorite cartoon, the show was canceled in 2013 after two seasons and three years on the air.

Despite its cancellation, a prolonged fan campaign resulted in a Young Justice revival on DC Universe, which has since been folded into HBO Max. Season 3 premiered in 2019, which Season 4 arriving in 2021.

"Young Justice has NOT yet been picked up for a fifth season," Weisman recently said while encouraging fans to continue showing their support for the series. " So if fans want more of Earth-16, the answer is simple: #KeepBingingYJ (all four seasons) over and over. And over and over. And help us #SpreadTheWord. We want to #SaveEarth16."
